Path Integral Quantization of Quantum Gauge General Relativity

چکیده
Path integral quantization of quantum gauge general relativity is discussed in this paper. First, we deduce the generating functional of green function with external fields. Based on this generating functional, the propagators of gravitational gauge field and related ghost field are deduced. Then, we calculate Feynman rules of various interaction vertices of three or four gravitational gauge fields and vertex between ghost field and gravitational gauge field. Results in this paper are the bases of calculating vacuum polarization of gravitational gauge field and vertex correction of gravitational couplings in one loop diagram level. As we have pointed out in previous paper, quantum gauge general relativity is perturbative renormalizable, and a formal proof on its renormalizability is also given in the previous paper. Next step, we will calculate one-loop and two-loop renormalization constant, and to prove that ∗email address: [email protected]

Renormalizable Quantum Gauge General Relativity
The quantum gauge general relativity is proposed in the framework of quantum gauge theory of gravity. It is formulated based on gauge principle which states that the correct symmetry for gravitational interactions should be gravitational gauge symmetry. The gravitational gauge group is studied in the paper. Then gravitational gauge interactions of pure gravitational gauge field is studied. It i...
متن کاملQuantum general relativity and the classification of smooth manifolds
The gauge symmetry of classical general relativity under space-time diffeomorphisms implies that any path integral quantization which can be interpreted as a sum over spacetime geometries, gives rise to a formal invariant of smooth manifolds. This is an opportunity to review results on the classification of smooth, piecewise-linear and topological manifolds. It turns out that differential topol...
متن کاملA Phase Space Path Integral for (2+1)-Dimensional Gravity
I investigate the relationship between the phase space path integral in (2+1)-dimensional gravity and the canonical quantization of the corresponding reduced phase space in the York time slicing. I demonstrate the equivalence of these two approaches, and discuss some subtleties in the definition of the path integral necessary to prove this equivalence. email: [email protected] Over the p...
متن کاملOn the (gauge-)natural theory of gravitation and the space of geometries
The search for a background-independent quantization of the gravitational field represents one of the biggest challenges to theoretical physics in our time. In [13] and [11] we extended the concepts of ”general covariance”, ”background independence” and superspace from metric theories (e.g., general relativity) to theories constructed on arbitrary (gauge)natural bundles. In this paper we shall ...

The most general rules for manifestly covariant quantization of gauge theories in the path integral approach are provided by the BV formalism [1], based on the principle of BRST symmetry [2], as well as by its Sp(2)-covariant version, the BLT quantization scheme [3], based on the principle of extended BRST symmetry [4]. These methods currently underly the study of quantum properties of arbitrar...
